Amazing Career Moments Happen Here

Transforming the insurance industry is ambitious, we know. That's why at Applied, we're building a team that shows up every day ready to learn, willing to try new things, and driven to deliver innovative software and services that make us indispensable to our customers - all within a culture built on values that make us indispensable to each other too. With 40+ years of experience in the Insurtech game, we're not just redefining what's achievable; we're creating a place where amazing career moments are made possible.

Position Overview

We're hiring a Director, Product Marketing - Agency for a hybrid role (1-2 days a week in-office) with occasional travel, leading product marketing strategy and execution for the largest buyer segment in Applied's portfolio. This role owns positioning, GTM, and team leadership for the Applied Epic ecosystem and EZLynx, partnering closely with Product Management, Sales, and Field Marketing to drive growth across our agency-facing solutions.

You'll lead a team that includes a Manager, a Lead PMM, and senior individual contributors across the largest product surface in our portfolio - operating in a fast-moving, AI-forward function that's redefining how PMM scales at Applied.

To keep us headed in the right direction, we're looking for people who understand winning is a team sport, who value and seek to learn from our team's diverse experiences and backgrounds, who welcome a challenge and take risks in the pursuit of creating better outcomes for our customers, and who can, at any given time, step back to laugh and have some fun.

What You'll Do

  • Strategy & Vision - Set the product marketing strategy for the agency segment, aligned to Applied's portfolio strategy and corporate priorities. Own positioning, narrative, and market direction for agency buyers across Epic and EZLynx.
  • Team Leadership - Lead, develop, and grow a team of product marketers. Build a culture of excellence through scalable programs, outcome-based accountability, and continuous learning. Mentor talent and develop the next generation of PMM leaders at Applied.
  • Product Launch & GTM - Govern the launch process across the agency portfolio, ensuring cross-functional alignment with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Demand Gen to maximize revenue and adoption impact.
  • Sales Partnership - Partner with Sales Enablement and CX leadership to ensure PMM output drives pipeline, competitive win rate, and adoption. Sponsor key enablement programs and own the agency-side sales narrative.
  • Competitive & Market Intelligence - Drive the competitive intelligence motion for the agency segment, partnering with the team's broader competitive program and contributing to portfolio-level insights.
  • Cross-Functional Influence - Partner with Product Management and Operations leadership as a trusted strategic advisor on roadmap, positioning, and pricing decisions for the agency portfolio.
  • Performance - Own and report on marketing-influenced business metrics: pipeline contribution, competitive win rate, adoption, and launch outcomes. Use data to continuously refine GTM strategy and execution.
  • AI-Forward Operating Model - Champion and contribute to Applied PMM's use of AI tooling, custom skills, and scalable systems to compound team impact.

We're Excited to Learn More About You

Your experience may include:

  • 8-10+ years in B2B product marketing, with 3-5+ years of people management experience including managing senior ICs or other managers
  • Proven track record leading product marketing strategy for a major product line, business unit, or buyer segment in an enterprise SaaS or platform business
  • Demonstrated success building and developing PMM talent, including hiring, coaching, and growing senior individual contributors and lead PMMs
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence cross-functional partners at the VP and C-suite level
  • Experience in complex, multi-stakeholder, or regulated industries (insurance, financial services, healthcare) strongly preferred
  • Experience working in AI-forward marketing teams or driving AI adoption within marketing functions is a strong plus
