JOB SUMMARY 

The ideal candidate will have a proactive, solutions-driven and detail-oriented work ethic and lead exemplary professionalism with our internal and external teams. They will develop ideas to integrate leads, program innovations as well as grow and nurture our Travel Advisor audiences in the business. 

The Coordinator, Trade Marketing (B2B) plays a vital role in supporting the trade marketing team in executing sales-aligned marketing initiatives for the travel advisor and agency channel. Reporting directly to the Director of Trade Marketing, this role is designed for a rising marketing professional with the ambition and capability to grow into an Associate Manager position. Working cross-functionally with internal teams, including trade marketing, sales, expeditions, B2C marketing, and trade advertising, the coordinator helps ensure consistent, high-impact messaging for the travel trade. 

Key areas of focus include consortia and strategic account marketing support, trade event coordination, educational webinars, social media content strategy and execution, lead-generating campaign support, and administrative tracking. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES 

Consortia & Strategic Account Marketing Support 

Partner with the sales team to: 

  • Support execution of the annual co-op marketing plan with consortia and strategic account partners 

  • Track plan milestones in Workfront and maintain the Trade Marketing Content Calendar 

  • Manage the execution of each tactic, including submitting briefs to the creative team via Workfront and ensuring proper internal and external approvals 

  • Report on results 

Note: Consortia are membership-based travel agency networks — such as Virtuoso, Signature Travel Network, and Travel Leaders Group — that connect preferred suppliers, such as Lindblad Expeditions, with their member travel advisors. These partnerships are a key channel for co-op marketing, advisor education, and driving bookings through the agency community. 

Trade Events & Trade Show Coordination 

  • Support the planning and on-site execution of industry events and trade shows, including agenda development, transportation, booth setup, staffing, and shipping 

  • Coordinate creation and distribution of trade marketing materials and collateral for events 

  • Assist in developing lead generation strategies, ensuring proper tracking, reporting, and follow-up 

  • Deliver post-event analysis to measure ROI and provide recommendations for continuous improvement 

  • With experience, take lead ownership of select events end-to-end 

Educational Webinars 

  • Support planning and execution of Travel Advisor webinars, including theme development, scheduling, and promotion 

  • Help prepare engaging presentations tailored to advisor education and sales enablement 

  • Coordinate with Exploration Leaders, Sales Leaders, and subject-matter experts as guest presenters 

  • Manage logistics including briefing speakers, rehearsals, and technology setup 

  • Track registrations, attendance, and engagement, providing detailed post-webinar reporting and recommendations 

  • Grow to independently lead webinar programs as skills develop 

Social Media & Content Strategy 

  • Manage curation, scheduling, and execution of trade-facing social media content across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram 

  • Maintain the Trade Social Content Hub on a weekly basis, developing audience specific copy and images in alignment with the marketing calendar and sales initiatives 

  • Ensure alignment with overall trade marketing campaigns and messaging. 

  • Monitor trade engagement on social platforms and build/share monthly performance reports 

  • Suggest ways to continually improve trade social media engagement 

Administrative & Operational Duties 

  • Manage the processing and tracking of trade marketing invoices, purchase orders, and budget allocations 

  • Maintain internal tracking documents, campaign calendars, and deliverables dashboards 

  • Assist in compiling post-campaign or post-event recap reports and insights for internal use 

  • Serve as a cross-functional point of contact for trade marketing, sales, expeditions, B2C, and legal teams 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS 

  • BA/BS required in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent industry experience 

  • 2–3+ years of experience in B2B and/or B2C marketing, events, social media, or related field, preferably in the travel industry. B2B experience a plus 

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally. 

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, particularly in event planning and management 

  • Excellent ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment 

  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and solutions-driven attitude

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams, external vendors, and partners 

  • Attention to detail, curiosity to solve problems and a focus on delivering high-quality experiences for Travel Advisors

  • Using the English language, this person must have the ability to read, write, and comprehend policies, legal guidelines, correspondence, and memos
