Position Overview
Timber Dental is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with at least one year of experience in a dental or healthcare front office setting who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering an exceptional patient experience.
Schedule
4 days. 7:30am - 5:30pm with an hour lunch. Day off subject to office availability.

Key Responsibilities
- Â Greet and check in patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional experienceÂ
- Â Answer phones and manage appointment scheduling to maintain a productive scheduleÂ
- Â Verify patient information and maintain accurate recordsÂ
- Â Perform insurance verification and provide basic benefit breakdowns to patientsÂ
- Â Collect co-pays, balances, and process patient paymentsÂ
- Â Coordinate patient flow and support the clinical team as neededÂ
- Â Follow up with patients regarding appointments and treatmentÂ
- Â Maintain an organized and efficient front office environmentÂ
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Â Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental or healthcare front office role preferredÂ
- Â Experience with dental insurance verification and patient scheduling preferredÂ
- Â Familiarity with practice management software is a plusÂ
- Â Strong communication and interpersonal skillsÂ
- Â High attention to detail and organizational skillsÂ
- Â Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environmentÂ
- Â Positive attitude and strong customer service mindsetÂ
