Job Title:Assistant Manager

Pay: $16.50-$21.00/hour + tips

Location: Westminster, CO

Reports To: General Manager and/or Store Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: Supervise the staff and run the shifts when the Store Manager and/or General Manager is not on duty; direct other employees through their daily routines and interact with customers to make sure that they have a satisfactory experience.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    1.Must have open availability and be able to run all shifts around the Store Manager and General Managers’ schedules. Must be at least 18 years of age.
    2.Open and close the store as necessary.
    3.Make mid-day bank deposit runs.
    4.Hire and fire staff as necessary, often times under the direction of the store manager and/or general manager.
    5.Create and hand over crew schedules and ensure that they are followed properly.
    6.Supervise staff to make sure that they perform their duties with customer satisfaction in mind.
    7.Train new crew members to handle food preparation and serving duties as necessary.
    8.Provide workers with information on food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene and any company policies, procedures, standards, and processes.
    9.Inspect food supplies, dishware and flatware and food preparation equipment to ensure quality and standards.
    10.Assist with inventory control of food, equipment, and supplies and report any shortages or inconsistencies to the designated staff.
    11.Keep an eye on operational issues such as theft and wastage and establish protocols to minimize them.
    12.Ensure that kitchen equipment is maintained on a regular basis and arrange for repairs in a timely manner.
    13.Make reports of equipment wear and tear and sanction purchase of new equipment.
    14.Ensure that food portions and courses are appropriate before they are served to customers.
    15.Assist in processing payments through the cash register, credit card terminals, and also with loyalty and gift card transactions.
    16.Listen and address customers’ complaints and suggestions
    17.Perform other duties as assigned.
