Position Title: Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager
Employment Status: Full-Time (Exempt)
Reports To: Finance Operations Director, COO
Job Summary:
As the Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager at Bomnin Automotive, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of vehicle sales transactions. Your role will involve working closely with customers to secure financing, selling additional F&I products, and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. You will play a vital role in helping our customers secure the best financing options and protect their automotive investments.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Sales:
  • Meet with customers to discuss their financing and insurance needs.
  • Present financing options and additional F&I products to customers in a clear manner.
  • Assist customers in completing financing applications and securing approval.
  • Provide expert guidance on F&I products, including extended warranties, service contracts, and insurance.

Compliance and Documentation:
  • Ensure that all financing and insurance transactions are conducted in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of all F&I transactions.
  • Review and explain all financing and insurance paperwork to customers, ensuring they understand the terms and conditions.

Customer Service:
  • Build rapport with customers and establish trust to facilitate the F&I process.
  • Address customer questions and concerns regarding financing and insurance options.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.

Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to streamline the sales process and enhance the customer experience.
  • Communicate effectively with the Finance Operations Director and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Product Knowledge:
  • Stay informed about the latest F&I products and financing options.
  • Attend training and professional development programs to enhance knowledge and skills.

Performance Metrics:
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and financial goals established by the dealership.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to F&I activities.

Position Requirements
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an F&I Manager in the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financing options, credit analysis, and F&I products.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in finance and insurance software applications.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Willingness to take a skill performance evaluation pre-employment assessment.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is a must.
  • Never misrepresent a deal or vehicle equipment.

Physical Demands:
  • The F&I Manager position primarily involves working in an office environment with minimal physical demands.

Work Environment:
  • The work environment is typically indoors within the dealership's F&I office.
  • Occasional travel for training or other business purposes may be required.
