Job description

We're a growing Allstate agency in Venice, FL, looking for a Licensed Customer Service Retention Specialist who genuinely loves taking care of people — and is just as good at keeping the work moving. This is the person our clients trust: you handle their service needs, keep their coverage right, and make sure they stay with us year after year.

The right fit is warm but efficient. You care about every client, but you know the difference between truly helping someone and getting stuck in the weeds — you triage, you prioritize, and you keep the whole book moving, not just the one account in front of you. You take pride in being organized, accurate, and dependable.

This is a stable, in-office career role for someone who wants to be excellent at client service and retention — not a stepping stone to a sales seat. If protecting relationships and being the dependable backbone of a team is what you love, this is your seat.

Responsibilities
  • Own the client experience for service requests — endorsements, billing questions, coverage changes, and certificates
  • Manage renewals and proactively reach out before they lapse to keep retention high
  • Handle retention "saves" with empathy and a clear path to keep the client
  • Review existing accounts for gaps and round/cross-sell additional coverage where it fits
  • Work within clear service time standards and priorities so the full book stays current
  • Keep client records, the CRM, and documentation accurate and up to date
  • Maintain full compliance with carrier and state guidelines on every account
  • Be a reliable, positive presence the team and clients can count on
Requirements
  • Active Florida 4-40 (Customer Representative) license required; 20-44 also accepted
  • 1–3 years of property casualty customer service or account management experience
  • Warm, patient, and people-first — with a strong sense of priorities and a bias toward getting things done
  • Organized and detail-oriented; protects accuracy without getting lost in perfectionism
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Coachable and willing to follow established processes and systems
  • Comfortable with CRM and standard office/insurance software
  • Dependable and able to work in-office in Venice, FL
  • Genuinely enjoys service and retention as a career — not looking to move into a sales role
