As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the management and oversight of a given sales region. This will include Agency management, training, profitable region growth, and general day to day support of agencies.
Essential Duties:
  1. Customer Relationship Management:
    1. Build and maintain strong and lasting relationships with both internal and external customers
    2. Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    3. Maximize business retention by exceptional customer service
    4. Lead the development of productive agency plans to maximize business opportunities and profitable revenue growth.
    5. Collaborate with all team member stakeholders to drive holistic approach to agency support; internal claims, processing, livestock partners
    6. Provide Agency training on processing system, products, and general Crop Insurance knowledge
  2. Business Growth:
    1. Proactively identify new business growth opportunities in assigned region
    2. Conduct market research, and analyze industry trends.
    3. Analyze current region business and drive organic growth
    4. Meet or exceed assigned annual sales goal
    5. Drive profitability within assigned region by strategically growing business
  3. Market Expert
    1. Become an expert in local region
    2. Understand all products and services in the region agents need to be successful
    3. Communicate competitive products and trends to internal team for analysis

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Crop Insurance experience in any role; Agency, sales, Underwriting, Claims, etc.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and strategize accordingly.
  • Familiarity with industry trends and market dynamics.
  • Must live within assigned region
