It is engaged in the construction and sale of high quality homes designed principally for the entry‑level and first‑time move‑up markets. D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Director of Sales. The right candidate will manage all sales activity, escrow closings and representation to the public. Manage Sales projections.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Motivate and coordinate between the department of Sales, Escrow, Marketing, Construction, Product Development, Land Acquisition, and Mortgage
  • Resolve problems and/or issues pertaining to any department
  • Meet or beat set sales goals
  • Recruit and hire future sales representatives. Train and motivate the sales force
  • Perform a competitive analysis on product, features, and neighborhoods/amenities
  • Work with the Marketing Coordinator/Manager and Division Manager on advertising
  • Work with the agents on all marketing promotions
  • Perform realtor outreach (realtor breakfasts, lunches, office presentations)
  • Oversee grand openings and new phases
  • Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly manages two or more employees in the Sales & Marketing Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications Education and/or Experience
  • Fifth‑year college or university program certificate
  • Six to eight years of related experience and/or training
  • Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license
  • Provide attention to detail and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Possess exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email
