Project Manager

Program Manager
KBR's National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country's most critical role - protecting our national security.
KBR is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee the execution of multiple Air Force research, development, systems engineering, and cybersecurity task areas supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC).
The Project Manager will provide leadership, direction, and operational oversight for a portfolio of technical teams supporting critical national security programs, including the Survivable Airborne Operations Center (SAOC), Joint Exercise, Training, Assessment, and Related Support efforts, Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS), Asymmetric Warfare Division initiatives and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Materiel Management (DMM) effort supporting the Legacy Training Aircraft Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring technical excellence, schedule performance, resource management, customer satisfaction, and contract compliance across multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders. This position serves as the primary interface between Government Program Management Offices (PMOs), KBR leadership, and cross-functional technical teams to ensure successful delivery of mission-critical engineering and cybersecurity services.
Work Environment:
  • Location: Hybrid
  • Travel Requirements: 10% minimal travel.
  • Working Hours: Standard 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, schedule, staffing, budgets, risks, and deliverables
  • Experience interacting with Government customers and Program Management Offices (PMOs)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership
  • 3 years of experience
  • Top Secret Security Clearance

Desired Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Program Management certification or equivalent
  • Experience supporting AFLCMC organizations and acquisition programs
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed teams and subcontractors
