We are currently recruiting for a Client Project or Programme Manager to join the team in either our Bedford, MA or Durham NC locations.
Reporting to the Director, Programme Management the purpose of the role is to manage the relationship between OXB and its clients and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget to the required quality to ensure successful long-term relationships, playing a key part in advancing our mission and making a real difference.
Your responsibilities in this role would be:
  • Maintains client / partner satisfaction to ensure successful long-term relationships.
  • Understands client needs and identifies ongoing project opportunities.
  • Ensures projects are delivered within the agreed scope, timeline and budget and project milestones are met.
  • Ensures project risks are identified, and effective mitigation actions are put in place.
  • Provides project updates and performance data to OXB (Oxford Biomedica) Management to enable effective strategic and tactical decision making.
  • Responsible for all financial aspects of the project including forecasting, cost control etc.
  • Determines scope, costings, and timelines for new and revised work packages.
  • Assists with preparing proposals and contributes to contract negotiations for prospective clients.

We are looking for:
  • Scientific Degree or PhD
  • Project Management qualification preferred.
  • Demonstrable experience using Project Management tools, methodologies & techniques.
  • Significant project management experience inclusive of budgetary ownership, preferably within the pharmaceutical /biotech industry.
  • Good technical understanding of biopharmaceutical process development and manufacturing.
  • Experience of working to external client deliverables.
  • Experience of managing projects using MS Project & MS Excel.

The salary range for this position: $119,000 to $158,000.
This offer range represents the anticipated base pay compensation for this position. The actual
compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by OXB include health insurance, 401k contributions, paid time off (PTO) and tuition reimbursement.
