Your role: Monitor team member performance to ensure they are executing assigned tasks safely, accurately, and as scheduled Assign work to team members while taking into account available hours, skill sets, and other resources to ensure operational targets are met Coach, counsel, and train team members to ensure competence, as well as prepare them for future opportunities Set team members up for success; achieve or exceed key performance indicators, as well as safety, performance, and budget targets; record daily performance metrics Promote safety in the work environment and ensure all safety rules are followed Resolve equipment issues (for example, replace failed equipment or contact Maintenance) Identify and assist in implementing process improvements Perform other duties as required What we're looking for: You must be available to work the evening shift, Sunday through Thursday, from 3:30 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. Demonstrated team-building skills Ability to build rapport and trust with others Experience and willingness to mentor and coach others Analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex problems; creative problem-solving Demonstrable knowledge of MS Office Software suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook) Ability to manage change well and remain positive in the face of change Ability to speak to large teams, communicate information, and listen effectively Experience creating and maintaining a Safety First culture Understanding of fulfillment/distribution centre/warehouse processes and flow Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required, and to move between shifts Any combination of relevant education and professional experience will be considered By joining the RONA family, you’ll enjoy many benefits, such as: An inclusive and safe working environment Promotion of work-life balance Exclusive employee discounts Benefits: insurance (certain conditions apply), annual salary review, etc.
