PepsiCo’s Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions team is responsible for generating, managing and executing mergers and acquisitions, minority investments, and strategic activities across all of PepsiCo’s business units.This fast paced, collaborative team of M&A professionals focuses on the inorganic agenda of PepsiCo’s global beverage and snack product portfolio, making a direct impact on the company’s future success.


PepsiCo is seeking a Corporate M&A professional for the role of Finance Manager. It is a rewarding opportunity for both personal and professional growth where you will have the unique opportunity to drive PepsiCo’s inorganic agenda, solve complex strategic problems, and work with global cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The Manager will report to a Senior Director while having direct interaction with the Head of Corporate M&A, as well as other senior company executives, and participate in all stages of executing strategic transactions for PepsiCo globally.


Responsibilities
  • Support PepsiCo divisions' business leaders, senior corporate executives and strategy teams to screen, analyze and develop M&A strategy and pipeline
  • Collaborate with business and functional teams to synthesize industry/category dynamics and all aspects of the business case development (strategic rationale, financial analyses) to evaluate opportunities
  • Lead cross-functional team to execute a wide range of strategic activities, including, but not limited to, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and minority investments
  • Influence key decision makers to create internal alignment

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $110,700 - $185,250.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

  • 3+ years of transaction execution experience either in corporate development / M&A department of a corporation, investment bank, private equity or similar financial services institution. Work within a management consulting firms M&A/Corporate development practice may also be appropriate
  • Ability to evaluate potential opportunities through the development of valuation models to reflect detailed business case assumptions with the flexibility to run scenarios / sensitivities
  • Ability to drive results on multiple projects in parallel
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; effective verbal and written communication
  • Strategic thinker with intellectual curiosity; highly analytical and skilled at valuation methodologies and financial analysis
  • Expertise in screening and analyzing potential opportunities for strategic fit and conducting business due diligence
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively within teams across the organization
  • Food and/or beverage experience, as well as related consumer products background is preferred
  • MBA from top Business School highly preferred
  • Business-facing role based in Purchase, NY
