Job Summary:
Join our team as a Support Staff and become part of fulfilling Celebree's values to protect, educate, and nurture. In this entry-level position, you will support lead teachers in upholding the highest standards of care and education, ensuring that each child's individual needs are met. Responsibilities
As Support Staff, you will be a key support to our teaching team, ensuring classrooms run smoothly throughout the day. You will be provided with the tools, resources, and training to:
  • Support classroom teachers by providing coverage during breaks, lunches, and planning times, ensuring continuous care and supervision for children.
  • Assist in multiple classrooms with children of varying age groups, stepping in as needed to help implement lesson plans, supervise activities, and support transitions.
  • Maintain a warm, inclusive, and nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore, play, and learn.
  • Engage children in meaningful activities, including storytelling, music, and play-based learning that promotes developmentally appropriate skills.
  • Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment, helping teachers reset materials and maintain standards throughout the day.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers and staff to support daily classroom goals and ensure smooth handoffs between team members.
  • Meet and maintain state licensing requirements, including background checks, training hours, and health and safety standards.

Qualifications
  • A high school diploma is required; a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or higher is preferred.
  • Professional experience in Early Childhood Education preferred
  • Understanding of child development and basic classroom routines.
  • Familiarity with childcare licensing regulations and safety standards.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to support classroom management and transitions across age groups.
  • Flexible, dependable, and adaptable to daily changes in classroom needs.
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
