About the Candidate / Role
Tradewind Aviation is seeking a full-time HR Talent Management Generalist who will play a critical role in driving organizational performance through strategic talent practices, effective employee relations, and robust learning initiatives. This role is heavily focused on managing complex employee relations matters, leading progressive discipline processes, and administering ADA accommodations, while also building strong talent pipelines and fostering a culture of continuous development and accountability.
This role serves as a trusted advisor to all People Managers, ensuring that talent strategies, performance management, and employee relations practices are fair, consistent, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
Requirements
Essential Functions
Employee Relations & Progressive Discipline (Primary Focus)
  • Serve as the primary HR lead for employee relations, managing complex workplace issues with sound judgment and confidentiality.
  • Lead investigations into employee concerns including harassment, conduct, and policy violations.
  • Oversee a consistent progressive discipline framework.
  • Partner with leaders to address performance concerns through corrective action plans.
  • Provide guidance on terminations and high-risk employment decisions.
  • Identify trends and implement proactive solutions.

ADA, Leave Management & Workplace Accommodations
  • Manage ADA accommodations and interactive processes.
  • Ensure compliance with ADA, FMLA, and regulations.
  • Maintain records and support leaders in accommodations.

Talent Management & Workforce Development
  • Lead talent strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Drive workforce planning and build talent pipelines.
  • Support succession planning and high-potential development.

Performance Management & Accountability
  • Lead performance processes and align with discipline.
  • Train leaders on feedback, coaching and accountability.
  • Develop and implement 9-Box practice

Learning & Development
  • Design and implement development programs.
  • Promote continuous learning culture.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Champion a Train-the-Trainer approach to education resourcing

DEI
  • Embed DEI principles across HR practices.

Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree required; HR certification preferred
  • Experience: 5+ years HR experience with ER, talent, and L&D focus
  • Skills: Employee relations expertise, coaching, analytics, compliance knowledge
  • Must have strong work ethic, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and have a positive attitude
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
