Position Summary

The Intake Specialist serves as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming intake process. This role is responsible for gathering client information, verifying eligibility, coordinating services, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the initial contact for new clients via phone, email, and in person

Conduct intake interviews and collect required documentation

Enter and maintain accurate client data in systems/CRM

Verify client eligibility and required information

Coordinate referrals and service placements

Communicate with clients, case managers, and external partners

Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all regulations

Track intake progress and follow up with clients as needed

Assist with administrative tasks related to client onboarding

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred)

Previous experience in intake, customer service, healthcare, or social services preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent organizational and data entry skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Experience with CRM systems, case management software (like Casebook), or similar tools is a plus
