Job description

The Story's Officer and Grounds Coordinator is a fully committed Christian and intensely motivated to inspire non-religious people to follow Jesus. This individual is a high-integrity, goal-oriented self-starter who understands that the goals of Christian leadership are 1) servant-leadership, 2) empowering and resourcing others to do the work of God's kingdom, and 3) unabashedly sharing the gospel of Jesus with the world. The Office Coordinator will coordinate and oversee the administrative duties of our River Oaks location, and ensure that the office operates efficiently and smoothly.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing day-to-day operations of the main office and ensuring the office is open during regular working hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Managing schedule for large events and assisting with event execution
  • Managing security officers
  • Setting up and managing church vendor accounts
  • Assist with the input and timely payment of all invoices via Quickbooks
  • Overseeing ground operations and repairs, communicate with contractors, and management to keep projects running smoothly and on-time
  • Ensure church and office supplies are stocked and ordered
  • Assist with calendaring, building requests/reservations, and room set ups
  • Managing the upkeep and filing of administrative forms including parking permits, building key agreements, and other forms as might be required
  • Assist with other projects as may arise and are assigned by the Executive Assistant

Qualifications and Compensation:

  • College degree preferred; compensation based on experience
  • The Operations and Grounds Coordinator will report directly to the Executive Assistant
