Amynta is hiring an Insurance Coverage and Compliance Analyst in the Kansas City Metro area who wants to be a critical team member in the profitable growth of our business. You will assist in product development, assist in enhancing existing products, drive compliance initiatives for forms, rates, rules, support internal and external audit function. Leverage insurance / compliance knowledge to support core functions of the business.
  • Serves as the central subject-matter expert supporting product development and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulatory updates
  • Enhance the coverage and form language of our existing products.
  • Support research and writing requirements for forms and state updates.
  • Engage with audit function for the identification of regulatory updates and needed injection into the business units.
  • Be the subject matter expert for our internal and external audit.
  • Institutionalize our internal product review and enhancement capabilities.
  • Monitor regulatory developments in active and prospective markets
  • Work closely with the operations development team on programming specs
  • Assist with aggregating compliance function with institutional processes, procedures, etc.

What we're looking for:
  • Experienced: You've worked for at least 3 years in insurance compliance. Property and Casualty underwriting or operations management and/or product development experience is preferred.
  • Critical thinker: Not just a catch phrase. If you are passionate about there has to be a better way, then you have come to the right place. Experience with supporting or launching new insurance products previously and understand what that entails is a great skill.
  • Individually accountable: We are looking for teammates who care about having a positive impact on the business and their teammates by driving excellence in their job function.
