Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial insurance accounts – Oversee policy renewals, coverage updates, and client communications.
  • Sell commercial insurance policies – Provide accurate quotes and match businesses with the right coverage.
  • Build relationships – Work closely with underwriters, clients, referral partners, and industry networks.
  • Develop new business – Generate leads, schedule appointments, and identify opportunities to grow the agency’s book of business.
  • Cross-sell insurance products – Identify opportunities to provide clients with additional coverage, including auto, home, and business policies.
  • Monitor and track agency goals – Set sales strategies, analyze customer retention metrics, and implement initiatives to strengthen client loyalty.
  • Provide exceptional customer service – Assist clients with claims, billing inquiries, and policy changes while ensuring high satisfaction levels.
  • Network and market the agency – Attend industry events, participate in networking groups, and establish partnerships with COIs and affinity groups.
  • Ensure compliance and licensing – Maintain accurate records for audits, licensing, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support agency marketing initiatives – Participate in marketing events, social media campaigns, and community outreach programs.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Agent Producer/Account Manager
  • Kansas Property Casualty License (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
  • Sales and/or customer service experience in insurance or financial services
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Self-motivated with a competitive, goal-oriented mindset
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience developing and maintaining client relationships
  • Strong analytical skills to monitor business performance and customer trends
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
