Insurance Claims Administrator
Pay: $19.00/hour
Location: Waco, TX
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Position Overview
Crouch Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Claims Analyst to support an established insurance organization in reviewing and processing insurance claims. This role involves verifying documentation, updating claim records, and communicating with customers and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely claim handling.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative, data entry, or customer service experience who is interested in building a long-term career in the insurance or financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities
• Review and process insurance claims within established guidelines
• Verify policy coverage and required documentation
• Calculate benefits payable using established procedures
• Prepare correspondence and update claims systems
• Research records and documentation needed to support claim decisions
• Communicate with customers, representatives, and internal departments by phone, email, and written correspondence
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and claim status
• Monitor claim accounts and follow up on outstanding items
• Support team members and assist with overflow calls or special projects
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous claims, insurance, administrative, or office experience preferred
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems)
• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to research information and solve problems independently
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
