Job description

Mchugh Insurance is seeking a proactive, licensed 440 Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our growing team, specializing in personal lines insurance. The role is ideal for someone who is detailed-orientated, dependable, and brings a positive, upbeat attitude with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. The right candidate will be comfortable working with upscale clientele over the phone and delivering a polished, high-quality service experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Respond to incoming quote requests for auto, home, condo, boat, and umbrella policies; provide accurate, competitive quotes and bind coverage efficiently.
  • Service existing accounts by handling policy changes, endorsements, and client inquiries with professionalism and clarity.
  • Review renewals, proactively reach out to clients to maintain retention, and identify opportunities to offer additional products.
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date client records within the agency management system.

Qualifications

  • Active 440 CSR License required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client first mindset.
  • Positive, professional demeanor with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Comfortable working with high-end clients and maintaining a high standard of service.
  • Previous insurance agency experience a must.
