Qualifications

Installation Technician  needs minimum 2 years related Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Installation experience.


Installation Technician needs;

  • Travel and field experience
  • Understanding of vehicle component wiring a plus
  • clear
    understanding of wires, connectors, cable routing, circuit design,
    accepted industry standards and protocols, electrical layout and
    drafting as well as simple mechanical installation.

Installation Technician duties:


  • responsibility
    for the installation of our proprietary CAD/AVL equipment, some COTS
    components and trays/brackets onto mass transit vehicles.
  • The
    installer will work very closely with the VIE Designer to insure proper
    installations in accordance with design intent, customer
    needs/standards, and industry accepted standards and protocols.
  • The Installation Technician is subject to extensive domestic travel. International travel is possible.
