Home Technology Group is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join the VacuuPro team as a Field Installer. Servicing the Smyrna and Sussex County area, the field Installer would ideally be based around Milford, DE to be able to provide quality service to our clients. Regular schedule includes alternating weeks: five eight-hour days on regular week; four ten-hour days with Friday off every other week.Learn more about VacuuPro and our positive company culture here:https://vacuupro.com/


Offering:

Home Technology Group offers 5 days paid vacation leave per annum and 6 paid holidays. Company uniforms are provided and $100 reimbursement for winter gear per annum. There is an Employee Bonus Program as well as financial assistance for select college courses subject to management approval. In addition, our new hire will have eligibility for any additionalemployee benefitsas provided in the future.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining company standards for installation & service practices.
  • Working closely with the Installation Manager
  • Maintenance of vehicles, including cleanliness, fuel and repair
  • Tracking and availability of inventory on vehicles such as tools and equipment
  • All field paperwork (App's) involving time slips, change orders, photographs, files, plans, etc.


Requirements:

  • High School Graduate. College or specialized courses in electronics and/or construction preferred
  • Active enrollment in a Technical/Vocational school OR a minimum of two years experience in construction industry
  • Knowledgeable in the field of residential construction
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints as well as computer literate
  • Ability to communicate with installers/trades, customers and project managements
  • Ability to perform calculations, and engage in strategic and creative problem solving
  • Ability to perform well under pressure
  • Ability to work with new construction, outdoors, and crawl spaces


Special Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, sit, stoop, climb, reach, and bend.
  • Ability to carry up to 40 pounds
