Installation Manager
Location:Â Phoenix, AZ (Travel Required 60%-80%)
Compensation:Â $85,000 - $125,000 per year DOE
We are seeking an experienced Installation Manager to oversee and manage installation projects across the United States. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who can lead field crews, troubleshoot installation challenges, and represent the company professionally with customers.
This position requires extensive nationwide travel. When not traveling, the Installation Manager will support operations in our Phoenix manufacturing facility by assisting with production, quality control, process improvements, and project preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel nationwide to oversee installation projects from start to finish.
- Manage field installation crews and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
- Inspect completed installations to verify quality standards and customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues in the field, including hands-on repairs and modifications when necessary.
- Coordinate project schedules, manpower, equipment, and materials with internal teams.
- Maintain communication with customers, project managers, and internal departments throughout each installation.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company policies.
- Document project progress, punch lists, and installation reports.
- Train and mentor installation personnel on best practices and quality expectations.
- When in Arizona, assist in the manufacturing facility with production support, quality inspections, inventory coordination, and preparing materials for upcoming installations.
- Recommend process improvements to increase installation efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing installation, construction, manufacturing, or industrial field projects.
- Proven ability to lead crews and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair installation issues on-site.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States (approximately 60–80% travel).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and installation specifications.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and mobile reporting tools.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in indoor manufacturing environments as well as outdoor job sites.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing commercial construction or industrial installation projects.
- Knowledge of fabrication, manufacturing, or custom-built products.
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training.
