Job description

cFocus Software seeks a Installation Analyst to join our program supporting the United States Navy (DON). This position is on site in the San Diego, CA area. This position requires a Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
Qualifications:
  • Active Secret or TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Project Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
  • 3 โ€“ 10+ years of Military Installation experience
  • Relevant internships, military experience, academic projects, or Navy/DoD experience supporting installation, logistics, engineering, or program management activities is desirable.
  • Knowledge of installation planning, project tracking, and modernization support processes.
  • Ability to review, organize, validate, and maintain installation documentation and records.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and stakeholder coordination activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze information, identify discrepancies, and support resolution of installation issues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment supporting Government and contractor personnel.

Duties:
  • Review installation documentation, technical packages, schedules, fielding plans, and installation intentions to support modernization efforts.
  • Maintain installation repositories, databases, tracking systems, and milestone schedules; ensure records are current, accurate, and complete.
  • Track and manage installation documentation including SCDs, JCFs, SARs, IRDs, SIDs, EDDs, test reports, and installation completion documentation.
  • Support installation work plans, schedule updates, and changes to installation scope, cost estimates, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate with Program Managers, APM-Is, engineers, planners, installation teams, planning yards, shipyards, and fleet stakeholders.
  • Assist with installation planning meetings, production meetings, working groups, and installation readiness reviews.
  • Monitor installation milestones and notify stakeholders regarding overdue, missing, incomplete, or late documentation.
  • Support site surveys, ship checks, installation assessments, and installation scheduling activities.
  • Prepare installation status reports, executive summaries, briefing materials, white papers, and technical presentations.
  • Track installation costs, approval status, financial data, and spend plan information supporting installation execution.
  • Support installation execution activities by monitoring progress, documenting issues, coordinating corrective actions, and maintaining installation records.
  • Assist with Pre-Installation Check-Out (PICO) activities including readiness verification, logistics coordination, documentation validation, and installation package reviews.
  • Track completion of training, logistics products, certifications, test documentation, and installation closeout requirements.
  • Generate metrics, dashboards, and reports supporting installation management and modernization decision-making.
  • Provide technical comments, recommendations, and process improvement suggestions related to installation planning and execution.
