Job description

If you are a detailed oriented and self motivated individual with experience in construction, join the Champion Windows team! The Installation Manager position is responsible for overseeing and ensuring that all aspects of Window, Siding, and Door Installations are carried out efficiently, effectively, and fit the strategies of Championโ€™s organizational policies, procedures and goals.

As Installation Manger you will oversee all aspects of our installation and service department.

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Oversee Installation crews, and ensure that products are installed to company standards
  • ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Supervise, train, and develop installation crews
  • ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Work with Division Manager to ensure goals are prioritized and met
  • ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Ensure timely and thorough installation of ready product
  • ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Provide follow-ups with customers and ensure any open concerns are addressed in a timely manner
  • ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Visit installation sites and interact with crews and customers
  • ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Assist in the collection of accounts receivable
  • ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  File permits and local variances
  • ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Schedule and organize a high volume of new and existing projects

Requirements:

  • ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Associate degree in related field, or equivalent experience
  • ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Minimum of five (5) years experience in installation, including windows and siding ย 
  • ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Ability to supervise and train others
  • ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Strong mathematical skills, and ability to accurately measure
  • ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Solid computer skills, including use of MS Office Suite
  • ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Valid Driverโ€™s License and clean driving record
  • ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Strong scheduling and organization skills
  • ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Customer Service and detail orientated
