Service and Installation Manager (SIM)

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

Under direction of the Area Operations Manager, the Service and Installation Manager (SIM) will Manage and direct all the Service and Install related opportunities in the assigned area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with Area Operations Manager and Service and Installation Management Team to drive operational efficiencies throughout the area.
  • Manage and lead the service and installation techs in the assigned areas to ensure that Federal Protection Customers are receiving world class service in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Working with the Area Operations Manager to ensure that all state and local licensing required for the position are adhered to.
  • As the Service and Installation Manager (SIM) you will be responsible in making sure that all applicable licensing requirements are kept current for yourself and direct reports.
  • Will be responsible for Inventory control for the team while working within the guidelines set forth by upper management.
  • The Service and Installation Manager (SIM) will still run service calls and installs as needed to ensure quality control and address training and development. The Service and Installation Manager (SIM) may also run service calls and installs to address high service call volume.
  • Must be or become an expert in our current software (CRM Tools) and be able to lead, manage and train all Team members through the mandatory use of that software.
  • Must work in coordination with other Service and Installation Managers (SIM) on all projects that may require your designated area to assist in other areas such as but not limited to installations and service.
  • MUST have expert skills in customer conflict when it arises.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local laws applicable to position and employment.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and expectations to the benefit of the organization and co-workers.
  • Productively and positively contribute to the company’s goal of maintaining a safe, healthy, productive, and enjoyable workplace.
  • Accurately completes all paperwork, including timecards, in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Experience: Any combination equivalent to education and experience that provides the required skill and knowledge. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

  1. High School Diploma or GED
  1. Minimum of five years’ industry experience current or prior management experience is preferred.

Preferred Product knowledge:

ATM, ITM, Bank equipment (undercounter steel, pneumatics etc..)

Alarms, CCTV, Fire Systems, Access Control, Locks

SKILLS:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Walking up and down stairs.

Lifting up to 75 lbs.

Working indoors/outdoors in all types of weather conditions.

Climbing ladders.

HOURS OF WORK:
