About Top Advantage Surfaces
At Top Advantage Surfaces, we believe that happy people give amazing customer service - and that treating people fairly and compassionately is what makes a happy team.
In business since 1994 and part of the HRM Enterprises family since 2006, Top Advantage has built a reputation that shows up in some of the most recognizable venues in the region - including stadiums for the Buckeyes, Browns, Guardians, Steelers, and Pirates. As a top installer of Cambria's American-made quartz, we serve an area stretching from Cincinnati to Cleveland to western Pennsylvania, delivering show-worthy surfaces built to handle the toughest environments.
Our network of over 500 builders, remodelers, and kitchen and bath dealers is supported through showrooms in Hartville, Columbus, and Cranberry Township, PA. Whether it's the largest stadium or your kitchen counter, every customer gets the same top-notch service from a team that genuinely cares for one another and takes pride in their work.
HRM Enterprises is also home to the largest independent hardware store in the country, a TripAdvisor top-rated restaurant, the always-exciting Marketplace, and a destination campus that draws guests from near and far - all locally and family owned.
Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Countertop Install Helper to join our installation team. In this hands-on role, you will work side by side with experienced installers on residential and commercial job sites - supporting the delivery, preparation, and installation of countertops from start to finish.
No prior countertop experience is required. What matters most is a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to doing the job right. This is a great opportunity to build real skills and grow within the trade.
What You Will Do
- Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting countertop materials safely to job sites
- Support the lead installer in preparing surfaces and materials, including cutting, polishing, and fitting
- Carry tools and materials to and from the work area as needed throughout the day
- Help ensure precise measurements and alignments during installation
- Clean and organize job sites before and after installations
- Follow all safety protocols and handle heavy and fragile materials with proper technique
- Learn the fundamentals of countertop installation with opportunities to grow within the role
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in construction, cabinetry, or countertop installation is a plus - but not required
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 100 lbs using proper technique
- Comfortable with basic hand tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and genuine commitment to quality workmanship
- A team-first attitude with solid communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfort working outdoors, on construction sites, and in varying weather conditions
