Experienced Fire Sprinkler Install Helper

The Opportunity

As an Experienced Fire Sprinkler Apprentice, you will work alongside licensed sprinkler technicians to install, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems. This is a hands-on field role with real opportunities for training, advancement, and long-term growth within State Fire.

You will apply your existing experience while continuing to develop technical skills through field training and industry education.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the installation of fire sprinkler systems
  • Read, review, and follow plans, drawings, and job specifications
  • Load, unload, lift, and transport pipe and sprinkler materials
  • Use trade-specific tools such as hand tools, saws, and pipe cutters
  • Follow MSHA and OSHA safety requirements at all times
  • Participate in required training
  • Work 10-, or 12-hour shifts when necessary, and on-call rotation as needed
Requirements:Qualifications
  • Previous fire sprinkler experience with install/contract work preferred
  • Willingness to continue learning and advancing in the fire sprinkler trade
  • Valid driverโ€™s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass a national criminal background check
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment urinalysis and random testing as required
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, on-call rotations, and occasional overnight travel
Physical Requirements
