Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To assist the lead installer in the installation of signs and various support structures. This includes the drilling and pouring of concrete foundations.
  • Completes all paperwork as required by management such as work orders, material lists, etc.
  • Assists in the loading and unloading of signs, pipe and other related materials.
  • Performs general maintenance on company trucks and equipment. This includes the general appearance both inside and outside of the trucks, as well as general care and security of company vehicles and equipment.
  • Completes all work activities demonstrating attention to high quality, precise and detailed work.
  • Performs necessary housekeeping activities; this includes, but is not limited to, the picking up of all debris that results from installation activities. This includes proper storage of all materials and equipment when they are not in use as well as all other materials which may be offensive or hazardous.
  • Demonstrates professionalism in the work place as well as on all job sites.
  • Demonstrates flexibility in work hours to include availability for overtime hours as required by management.
  • Be physically able to safely and efficiently perform the physical requirements of this position.
  • Attends all necessary meetings and training as required by management.
  • Provides care and security for all company resources.
  • Must be available for extended travel to job sites both in and out of the state.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Valid Texas Driver's License required.
  • Installation experience of exterior or interior electrical signage preferred.
  • Cannot be afraid of heights.
  • Previous experience with light construction and/or vinyl wraps a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret blue prints and/or construction drawings.
  • Experience working with power tools, drills, and hand tools.
  • Experience in welding, electrical and general consturction preferred.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills in both written and verbal format.
