Job Profile Description
Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise. Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices. Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. May lead functional teams or projects.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that project and program objectives are clearly defined for assigned areas of responsibility, and that all necessary preliminary activities (such as defining outcomes, milestones, feasibility studies, and resource planning) are completed to support successful execution.
  • Ensure all assigned projects and programs are completed according to established requirements, with a focus on product and process specifications, cost management, resource utilization, and schedule adherence.
  • Ensure all phases of project, program, and process development are properly documented. Communicate and transfer required information to other functional organizations as appropriate. Maintain compliance with company policies related to engineering documentation, intellectual property, confidentiality, and safety.
  • Ensure effective utilization of material and financial resources.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to maximize project and program productivity.
  • Lead the research and development of new technologies as appropriate, and ensure that newly developed processes, designs, and methodologies are incorporated into Applied Materials products and services or shared across relevant organizations.

Other Requirements: This position may require standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools.
Additionally, because this position also may involve working in a clean room, the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields may be required.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
