Job description

The position of Install Coordinator is responsible for finding, coordinating and instructing subcontractors for the purpose of installing and servicing Allen Industries' products in a profitable and efficient manner.

DUTIES

  • Receive requests from Project Managers via CRM system to find subcontractors for install and site surveys
  • Review scope of work with Project Manager to verify clear instructions prior to installations
  • Direct communication with Project Managers and subcontractors
  • Coordinate installations per the established date by the Project Manager
  • Point of contact for the installs including handling any issues that may arise
  • Ensure that subcontractor installed product per the scope of work issued by the Project Manager
  • Approve subcontractor's invoice and submit to accounting for payment
  • Maintain target installation margins itemized by job and account


To become a part of our team we require applicants for our Installer position to have the following qualifications:

SKILLS

  • Mechanical aptitudes
  • Ability to read blue prints and manufacturing documents and drawings
  • Organized, detailed and results oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to exercise sound judgement and make good decisions based on the best interests of the company
  • General knowledge of electronic circuitry
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision


EDUCATION

  • High School diploma, GED or the equivalent of training, education and experience


EXPERIENCE

  • Two years of experience in Installation, service, construction or similar industry. Sign industry experience preferred
