Labcorp is seeking a US based remote Senior Director, Health System & Specialty Diagnostics Strategy to join our team.

Responsibilities

The Senior Director leads cross-functional efforts to align engineering, product and customer segment objectives with digital business strategies that elevate Labcorp's brand, accelerate provider conversion to specialty testing, and win health system business through integrated EMR and portal experiences.

They are responsible for working across key stakeholders to help translate customer needs into business priorities and help guide the IT roadmap for EHR or portal enhancements and software platform integrations, or other innovative offerings related to Specialty within Health Systems and large provider organizations.They are expected to maintain a deep understanding of healthcare delivery systems, trends, competitive intelligence, quality metrics and Specialty & HHS business objectives large organization and providers' care management and workflow needs, clinical guidelines as related to implementation success, and deep understanding of trends impacting digital solutions, EHR, workflow for providers, and value drivers for Health Systems & Specialty providers in the lab diagnostic space. This role helps build customer loyalty and lifetime value by aligning customer segment and product goals with clear and measurable digital business strategy.

Lead development of multi-year digital strategy for Specialty diagnostics across health systems.

Champion change management and adoption strategies for digital health tools and diagnostics.

Build and maintain strong relationships externally with customers, EHR vendor leadership, and key stakeholders in the digital solution space impacting lab business.

Serve as trusted advisor to senior leadership translating technical capabilities into strategic business value and outcomes.

Translate between IT/technical and engineering specifications, business and customer needs to drive specialty testing growth through Health systems and provider segments, leveraging digital solutions.

Build and maintain strong internal relationships across the businesses (divisions and specialty), IT, Science/Clinical, Operations, Marketing, Product, Finance, Contracting, Legal & Compliance in support of transformation of our EHR/portal programmatic implementation and strategic plan for Specialty diagnostics.

Drive EMR/portal integration strategy to improve provider workflows and diagnostic uptake.

Stay ahead of innovations within the digital health space, continuously assessing opportunities for enhancements.

Provide input on budget planning for digital solutions and EHR/portal enhancements, including forecasting future resource needs and associated revenue opportunity.

Simplify the complex and translate offerings into easy messaging for providers that drives desired behavior and uptake of Specialty diagnostics.

Inform the organization about industry changes and developments, anticipating potential negative and positive trends in the business and adapting strategies accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree

8 or more years of experience in product management, software implementation for clinical decision support, data science or experience selling digital or technology products in the healthcare industry.

8 or more years of experience working directly with commercial / clinical teams and key opinion leaders.

Preferred Qualifications

Masters degree

Understanding of commercial sales processes and account-based marketing strategies.

Familiarity with technology platforms, digital health tools, and interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, LOINC) as well as provider workflows and HHS business models.

Solid understanding of Specialty testing patient care management and provider workflows, interpretation of testing results, current guidelines, recommendations and clinical trends, client expectations of products and services, population health management, healthcare utilization goals and quality metrics.

Ability to lead by influence, managing multiple projects at once and working as part of collaborative team.

Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Adaptability, accountability, strong project management skills and attention to detail.

Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform insights and broad scale business decisions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including to senior executives.

About the Role

Two key areas for Labcorp growth are Hospital & Health System (HHS) deals and Specialty diagnostics leadership. Recent market trends demonstrate that customers are placing more importance on experience and ease of use when selecting a lab partner, and customers are demanding an integrated order-to-reporting system that is integrated into their routine workflow, supports optimal patient care management, and removes administrative burden.

We are looking for a strategic, customer-centric business leader who is passionate about transforming healthcare through diagnostics and digital innovation to fill a newly developed role. The Senior Director, Health System & Specialty Diagnostics Strategywill drive the development and implementation of enterprise commercial strategies for the programmatic inclusion of Specialty Diagnostics through EHR integrations, including but not limited to Epic Aura, and adjacent portals or other digital solutions, that enable our provider and HHS customers to choose Labcorp as their preferred lab partner. The scope of Specialty diagnostics for this role includes Oncology, Women's Health, Genetics, Rare Disease, and Specialty Medicine.

This position does not have direct reports but will require a significant amount of collaboration across functional teams, the ability to work well in white space or ambiguity, exceptional communication and networking skills, influencing without authority and operating with enterprise & growth mindset.

Pay Range:$190k - $220k annually (USD)

All job offers will bebased on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicabledegrees/certifications,as well as internal equity and market data.

The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan. Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers. Compensation may also include discretionary short- and long-term incentive packages.
