CuraCor Solutions is seeking a Strategic Advisor with experience in provider strategy and health data analytics to join our growing Care Delivery Services team. In this role, you will help drive healthcare innovation by delivering rigorous market and competitive intelligence, advanced data analytics, and helping shape implementation ready provider strategies that accelerate our care delivery vision. Acting as a trusted advisor to leadership, you will lead and collaborate across the organization to uncover, analyze, and translate complex data, market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and operational realities into clear, actionable strategic recommendations across near-, mid-, and long-term horizons. The ideal candidate is a relationship oriented critical thinker with an agile mindset who is comfortable challenging assumptions, navigating ambiguity, and operating at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and execution in an evolving payvider environment.
About The Care Delivery Services Team:
The Care Delivery Services Team sits within the diversified business arm of CuraCor Solutions, a family of companies that includes Blue Cross NCand works to help make health care better for all. The team is responsible for overseeing strategy co-development and execution as well as alliance management and advisement functions for CuraCor Solutions' care delivery service assets, including FastMed and Alo | Avance Care. The team was established to help expand consumer access to affordable high-quality care and improve the end-to-end consumer experience by reducing friction across the care journey.
In your role as a Strategic Advisor, you will help support and enable the strategic development and success of the Enterprise's diversified care delivery service platforms at multiple levels.

    What You'll Do

    Market Intelligence / Data Analytics

    • Deliver rigorous market and competitive intelligence, staying current on industry trends, care delivery innovation, and evolving payerprovider models to inform FastMed and Alo's strategy and competitive positioning.

    • Apply advanced data analytics across financial, operational, payor, and market datasets to generate insights that support sustainable growth, operational performance, and our mission to expand access to affordable, highquality care.

    • Translate data analytics into strategic insight, leveraging data visualization and storytelling to turn complex findings into clear recommendations, scenario analyses, and decision frameworks that support executive strategy discussions and decision-making.

    Strategy / Alliance Management

    • Support development of near to midterm strategy (1-3 years) for CuraCor's care delivery assets, partnering closely with longterm strategy teams to codevelop and ensure alignment with enterprisewide 5+ year strategic visions.

    • Guide asset-level strategies for FastMed and Alo | Avance Care, translating market insights, performance trends, and competitive dynamics into clear strategic direction and implementationready roadmaps.

    • Support crossenterprise strategies that align CuraCor's care delivery assets with Blue Cross NC to create collective value, accelerate the payvider vision, and support enterprise growth and innovation.

    • Contribute to the development of implementationready strategic recommendations that bridge strategy and execution, ensuring clarity on strategic intent, tradeoffs, and paths to impact without owning daytoday operations.

    • Partner with long-term strategy and corporate development teams to provide input on the strategic and financial value of additional care delivery partnerships, investments, and transactions.

    • Prepare executive-ready presentations and communications to keep CuraCor Solutions leadership informed of care delivery investment performance, progress, risks, and opportunities.

    • Co-manage key enabling activities required to support success such as financial and operational monitoring/reporting, legal/compliance, and communications.

    What You'll Bring

    • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required).

    • 3+ years of experience in related field.

    • In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field.

    Skills:

    • 3+ years of experience generating and translating market, competitive, customer, and location intelligence into actionable business insights, including use of tools such as Buxton and similar market planning and analytics platforms.

    • 2+ years of experience analyzing large, complex datasets and translating findings into clear strategic recommendations using data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, SQL, and Power BI.

    • Strong strategic and financial acumen, with experience developing business cases, financial models, and investment analyses to support executive decision-making.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for executive-ready materials.

    Nice to Have

    • Experience in business development, strategic planning, market/product development, business operations, health care operations and/or project management with health care providers and/or payors strongly preferred.

    In a Hybrid-Flex role, you'll work in the office at least two days a week for collaboration and connection. In a Remote Flex role, you'll work virtually, with a few in-office visits each year for meaningful moments that matter.

    Salary Range

    At Blue Cross NC, we take great pride in a fair and equitable compensation package that reflects market-price and our starting salaries are typically planned near the middle of the range listed. Compensation decisions are driven by factors including experience and training, specialized skill sets, licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs.Our base salary is part of a robust Total Rewards package that includes an Annual Incentive Bonus*, 401(k) with employer match, Paid Time Off (PTO), and competitive health benefits and wellness programs.
