PROJECT MANAGER SUMMARY:

The Factory Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and in alignment with organizational goals. This role involves coordinating resources, managing risks, and communicating effectively with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes. Will work with Engineering, Supply Chain and Production department to establish, publish and maintain Avonix X-Ray/CT production schedules.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Will include, but not limited to the following:

  • Produce, communicate and manage production schedules.
  • Identify and implement cost savings in departmental operations.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust schedule as necessary.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Ensure the quality level of the finished product meets Avonix standards and requirements and participate in final system buyoff.
  • Work as the liaison between the Avonix factory and Nikon sales regions.
  • Ensure project documentation is complete and properly maintained.
  • Manage and facilitate weekly production status meeting.
  • Manage internal development projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

PROJECT MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field, or equivalent technical experience.

• Five years experience related to project management in a manufacturing environment.

• Proven experience in capital equipment manufacturing project management.

Desirable

• Experience with Industrial x-ray system is a plus.

COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with Avonix employees, customers and members of management in a professional manner.
  • Ability to provide technical solutions with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Thorough knowledge of production operations and processes.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP software.
  • Experience with Project Management Software (MS Project, Smart Sheets, Resource Planning).
  • Understanding of industrial x-ray imaging systems and components.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong computer skills.
