To thrive as an Information Technology Assistant, you need a solid understanding of computer hardware, software troubleshooting, and network basics, often supported by an associate degree or relevant certifications like CompTIA A+. Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and basic networking tools is typically required.
