Description
SUMMARY:
Provide in-person/FLEX or online instruction for Criminal Justice courses. FLEX instruction allows students to choose on a daily basis whether to attend in-person or virtually through the D2L Brightspace virtual classroom.
Minimum Qualifications
  • M.A. In Criminal Justice; or J. D.; or M. A. in Sociology/M. A. in Political Science/M.A. in Public Administration/M.A in Psychology with relevant work experience.
  • Previous college teaching experience in the field.
  • Previous online instruction required where appropriate.
  • Commitment to teaching a student body diverse in ability, age, ethnicity, race, and sexual orientation.
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check.

Supplemental Information
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous experience with D2L Brightspace or other Learning Management systems preferred.

STATUS/SALARY
This is a part-time faculty position with a salary to be determined by placement on the adjunct faculty salary schedule.
