IT Support Specialist


Job description:
We are an IT support firm seeking an experienced IT support specialist to work full-time in San Dimas, CA.

Responsibilities will include:

*Administration and troubleshooting of Windows-based devices
*Administration of Microsoft 365
*Administration of a large Google-based environment including Google Workspace and Chromebooks
*Administration of Apple MAC and iOS devices
*Be able to provide training/assistance for end users
*Be able to manage user accounts and policies across multiple systems (Entra AD, Google Workspace, LoB-specific)
*Managing and responding to tickets via ZenDesk

This job is located onsite at our clients office in San Dimas. The client is a distance learning public charter school serving grades K-12. You will work within in a team of IT professionals that are responsible for the clients entire Technology department. Your day will be spent at a single location. The general schedule is M-F ~8:00am to 4:30pm with a 30 minute lunch. After-hours and weekend work rarely occurs but is sometimes necessary. This position reports to an onsite manager.


Qualifications:
People skills: this is the number one requirement. You must have excellent communication and inter-personal skills.

Experience: 2+ yrs of experience supporting users in a helpdesk role is required.

Polish: you must present yourself very well. You will be representing our company and on-site with our client every day. Please be able to write and speak clearly and concisely.

Initiative: you must be a self-starter that is capable of managing a task list and be able to identify new items that need to be completed.

Multitasker: you will be required to track multiple items at once (tickets, projects, etc.). Please be comfortable switching gears as necessary.

Other: This is an organization that works with children and as such you will be required to pass a background check and must have a clean record with no criminal history, no DUIs, no misdemeanors, no exceptions. Occasionally, you may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.

Bonus: Experience working in an education environment; industry standard IT certifications (A+, N+, Microsoft-based, etc.)
