Job description

CCA Academy: Located in the North Lawndale Community, CCA is a neighborhood school educating students since 1978. It has been a charter campus of the Youth Connection Charter School (YCCS) since 1997.


Job summary: Work with an IT consultant to maintain: the CCA network and LAN/WLAN as well as desktop and mobile equipment. The IT specialist will troubleshoot and repair equipment as well as printers and peripherals; resolve software conflicts and other related issues. Assists in developing and maintains: the CCA website and social media platforms, relationships with technology vendors, and network/email profiles. Provides day-to-day and long term support of device technology usage and integration of technology for students and staff during remote, hybrid, and in-person instruction.  Provides consultation to teachers, principals, staff and students on the use of current and emerging technologies. Have the ability to support staff and students in introductory STEAM courses.                                      

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree with three years.

Salary: Beginning salary: $50,000
