Job Description

A Business SystemsIntern at Medline will work on projects to enhance our current SAP Environment that caters to Chargebacks, Source to Pay, Master Data, and ERP Systems. This Intern will take up a project in one of these areas and execute it, bringing business benefits and/or process efficiencies. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience on business process analysis, data analysis, systems design, development, testing and deployment. The project is designed so that an intern can learn, execute and present with the help of an assigned mentor. They will partner with business sponsors, analysts, developers, and management to lead their project to success.

Examples of possible projects include:

  • Implement or enhance current sales order process in SAP to boost order fulfilment.
  • Implement or enhance a new Price, discount, or surcharge model to enhance profitability.
  • Implementor enhance a new tax or license model to meet compliance standards.
  • Implement or enhance rebating models that improve Medline gross to net
  • Exploring and profiling data in multiple systems. Capturing lineage of data between multiple systems.
  • Building data models for domains such as Product or Customer including cross domain relationships.
  • Analyzing data quality and developing dashboards for monitoring data quality metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Junior standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA preferred

  • Background in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or similar

  • Strong leadership abilities and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent organization, communication, data analysis and follow up skills

  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or Java is a plus

  • Unrestricted permanent US work authorization

$23.25 - $33.75 Hourly

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
