Smart Infrastructure, Asset Management Software (SI AMS) is seeking an IT Business Partner to act as the senior business-facing IT leader for SI AMS. This role connects Asset Management Software's business priorities with scalable, secure, and outcome-driven IT execution.. It offers a unique opportunity to shape the SI AMS IT agenda in close alignment with the SI AMS business, Siemens Corporate IT, and the overarching ONE Tech Company vision.

The IT Business Partner is responsible for translating business priorities into actionable IT roadmaps, leading the local IT strategy, driving key transformation initiatives, advancing Data & AI capabilities, strengthening application governance, and ensuring reliable IT services for SI AMS employees and business leaders.

This role will report to the SI AMS CFO, with governance alignment to the Head of Siemens IT Governance & Cross Services (IT GX).

You’ll make an impact by
  • Serve as the primary IT Business Partner for Asset Management Software business leaders and functional stakeholders, ensuring IT priorities are aligned with business objectives, Corporate IT direction, and Siemens IT strategy.
  • Lead the SI AMS IT organization across the enterprise business IT landscape, data and analytics, Process AI, application governance, and business enablement.
  • Bridge business strategy and technology execution by shaping IT roadmaps, service enhancements, platform decisions, and transformation initiatives that deliver measurable business value.
  • Lead and align SI AMS’s ERP migration as part of the Siemens SherpaX program, including business requirements, process impacts, data migration needs, target architecture questions, resource planning, risks, and stakeholder decisions.
  • Maintain strong alignment with Corporate IT, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data protection, and governance bodies to ensure SI AMS IT decisions are secure, compliant, and consistent with Siemens standards and enterprise platforms.
  • Mature the internal Data and AI operating model, including demand intake, prioritization, business ownership, roadmap transparency, reusable data products, self service analytics, and responsible AI adoption.
  • Ensure reliable IT service delivery and a seamless end-user experience across onboarding, offboarding, workplace IT, collaboration tools, recurring service topics, and operational support processes.
  • Lead and develop a distributed IT team, creating role clarity, strong collaboration routines, and a culture of ownership, trust, learning, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • A university degree in IT or a related field, with over 10 years of experience in IT business partnering, business-facing IT leadership, or comparable roles.
  • Solid understanding of IT governance, application ownership, cybersecurity alignment, data protection, service management, and cost awareness.
  • Experience coordinating major IT initiatives, ERP-related transformation or other business systems programs in a matrix organization.
  • Exceptional networking, collaboration, and communication skills, to build strong partnerships and navigate complex corporate environments.
  • Strong analytical and entrepreneurial competencies, with the ability to translate business needs into roadmaps, priorities, delivery plans, and measurable business value.
  • Familiarity with Data and AI, analytics modernization, data governance, self-service analytics, and AI-ready data foundations.
  • Experience with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, Power BI, Snowflake, or comparable technology environments.

The pay range for this position is $145,156 - $248,839 annually with a target incentive of 20% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
