Senior Manager, Infrastructure Engineering

We seek a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineering Manager to lead our IaaS and Data Intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure management, cloud services, data analytics, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, focusing on delivering scalable and efficient infrastructure solutions integrating DevOps methodologies.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Infrastructure Automation Engineers and Data Specialists.
  • Develop and implement strategies for IaaS and Data Intelligence.
  • Lead the Design and Implementation of scalable big data solutions in the infrastructure efficiency and developer productivity realm.
  • Explore and leverage Generative AI (GenAI) and Machine Learning (ML) to enhance infrastructure management and developer productivity.
  • Integrate SDLC practices and DevOps methodologies into Infrastructure Engineering.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAAS & Data Intelligence solutions.
  • Utilize Analytics & Data Driven approaches to Monitor and Optimize Infrastructure costs and resource usage.
Qualifications
  • Managed infrastructure-focused engineering teams on Cloud and have multiple years of experience focusing on one or more of the following areas:
  • Build, Test, Deploy
  • Developer Productivity
  • Observability
  • Reliability Engineering
  • Cloud Infrastructure coupled with Infrastructure as Code
  • DevOps
  • Proven experience in infrastructure management, cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), and data analytics.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Experience with automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Terraform, Python).
  • Knowledge of data analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Snowflake).
  • Proficiency in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps methodologies.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies, including Machine Learning (ML) and Generative AI (GenAI), and their potential applications in infrastructure management and developer productivity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Leadership Requirements
  • Proven Leadership and Team Management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in the relevant field.
  • Proven experience in driving strategic initiatives from ideation to fruition, embodying the full project execution lifecycle.

The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $146,000 - $220,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
