JOB PURPOSE:

Seventh Generation is seeking a dynamic and strategic PR & Influencer Manager to lead earned media, influencer marketing, and cultural engagement efforts that build brand trust, increase relevance, and drive business impact.
This role will develop and execute integrated communications programs that generate meaningful conversation around our brand, products, and advocacy initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in media relations, influencer strategy, storytelling, and relationship management, with a demonstrated ability to translate brand priorities into measurable earned outcomes.
The PR & Influencer Manager will collaborate closely with brand, social, advocacy, digital, ecommerce, and agency partners to deliver innovative campaigns that connect with consumers and advance Seventh Generation's mission.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Public Relations Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute annual PR strategies aligned with business and brand objectives.

  • Lead product launch communications, corporate storytelling, executive visibility, and thought leadership initiatives.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, producers, industry influencers, and media partners.

  • Identify proactive and reactive media opportunities that enhance brand reputation and share of voice.

  • Develop press materials including releases, media pitches, executive talking points, Q&A documents, and briefing materials.

  • Manage agency partners to ensure high-quality execution and strong return on investment.

  • Monitor media coverage, issues, and emerging trends to identify opportunities and risks.

  • Develop and execute influencer strategies that drive awareness, engagement, advocacy, and conversion.

  • Identify, evaluate, recruit, and manage creators across macro, mid-tier, micro, and niche influencer segments.

  • Lead influencer relationship management, contract negotiations, briefing, content approvals, and performance reporting.

  • Partner with social, brand, and media teams to build integrated creator campaigns that support key business priorities.

  • Foster long-term creator partnerships that deliver authentic storytelling and measurable business results.

  • Manage influencer agencies and technology platforms supporting creator discovery, outreach, and reporting.

  • Integrated Campaign Leadership

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure PR and influencer programs support broader marketing campaigns.

  • Partner with advocacy, sustainability, and innovation teams to amplify strategic initiatives.

  • Support experiential events, product seeding, media tours, influencer activations, and launch moments.

  • Ensure consistent messaging across earned, owned, shared, and paid channels.

  • Measurement & Optimization

  • Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks for PR and influencer programs.

  • Analyze campaign performance, earned media impact, influencer effectiveness, engagement, and business contribution.

  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to continuously improve results.

  • Manage program budgets, forecasts, and agency expenditures responsibly.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.

  • 5-8 years of experience in PR, influencer marketing, communications, or brand marketing.

  • Proven success developing and executing integrated earned media campaigns.

  • Strong media relationships and demonstrated experience securing impactful coverage.

  • Experience leading influencer partnerships from identification through measurement.

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Experience managing agencies and external partners.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience within consumer packaged goods, sustainability, wellness, lifestyle, or mission-driven brands.

  • Familiarity with influencer management and social listening platforms.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $103,000 to $154,400. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
