The Role

As a Senior Lead Product Manager on our Outbound Product team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our next-generation technology solutions by turning strategic vision into market impact.

This role combines the disciplines of product management and program leadership, making it ideal for a product professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, analytics, and commercialization. You will drive complex initiatives that accelerate product adoption, strengthen strategic partnerships, and create differentiated customer value.

Working across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and external technology ecosystems, you will bring together diverse teams to solve challenging business problems, deliver innovative solutions, and help customers realize the full value of digital transformation. This is a highly visible leadership role that offers the opportunity to influence product strategy, shape go-to-market execution and contribute directly to Lumen's growth and innovation agenda.

The Main Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Execution

  • Drive the execution and commercialization of strategic product initiatives aligned to business objectives and customer needs.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to influence roadmap priorities and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead complex, enterprise-wide initiatives across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and partner organizations.
  • Build alignment among stakeholders and drive execution in a highly matrixed environment.

Go-to-Market & Commercialization

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop launch strategies, sales enablement materials, and customer-facing value propositions.
  • Support product launches, customer engagements, pilot programs, and adoption initiatives.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Utilize market insights, analytics, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and optimize product performance.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators related to adoption, revenue growth, and customer value.

Innovation & Ecosystem Partnerships

  • Engage with technology partners, cloud providers, and industry stakeholders to identify emerging trends and new business opportunities.
  • Help shape innovative solutions that strengthen Lumen's market position and support customers' digital transformation journeys
What We Look For in a Candidate

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, product development, program management, or technology leadership roles.
  • Proven success leading complex cross-functional initiatives in large, matrixed organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into measurable business results.
  • Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions and business outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments where innovation, agility, and execution are critical.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification or equivalent program management experience.
  • Experience with cloud, AI, networking, digital infrastructure, telecommunications, or enterprise technology solutions.
  • Exposure to hyperscalers and emerging technology ecosystems.
  • Experience working with analytics platforms such as Databricks, Palantir, or comparable data environments.
  • Background supporting product launches, strategic partnerships, and commercialization efforts.
  • Experience leveraging market intelligence, competitive analysis, and industry research to shape business strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
