This leadership position offers a unique opportunity to define, lead, and innovate integrated social media and influencer marketing strategies for our portfolio of top-tier pharmaceutical and medical device PR and advertising clients.

As a principal architect of engagement, you will set the strategic direction for both branded and unbranded programs, pioneering novel approaches across owned social channels and high-impact influencer collaborations. Your leadership will ensure unparalleled alignment with critical brand objectives and uncompromising adherence to FDA and FTC regulatory frameworks. This role demands a profound and forward-thinking understanding of the evolving healthcare landscape, exceptional acumen in social media, and a proven executive track record in navigating and mastering the intricate complexities of pharmaceutical marketing.

What You'll Do: Vision, Impact, and Innovation

  • Senior Client Partnership: Cultivate and expand deep, trust-based relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor to proactively address complex challenges and deliver incisive strategic counsel that drives measurable business outcomes.
  • Advanced Campaign Orchestration: Lead the end-to-end strategy, development, and flawless execution of multiple, large-scale, and complex campaigns, encompassing executive oversight of budgeting, strategic resource allocation, critical timeline management, and sophisticated performance analytics.
  • Influencer Marketing Prowess: Champion the strategy, development, and execution of groundbreaking influencer marketing programs (both branded and unbranded). This includes identifying and securing top-tier influencers, skillfully negotiating high-value contracts, fostering enduring relationships, and crafting compelling content briefs that inspire exceptional, compliant content.
  • Next-Gen Social Channel Expertise: Define and implement robust, data-driven content strategies for both product and corporate social media channels, ensuring the creation of engaging, relevant, and deeply resonant content that captures target audiences. Possess expert-level understanding and application of advanced community management and social listening methodologies.
  • Creative Content Vision & Direction: Provide executive oversight for the development of premium creative content, delivering clear, concise, and inspiring strategic briefs to creative teams. Collaborate intensively with copywriters, designers, and video producers to ensure all content epitomizes brand guidelines and achieves campaign objectives.
  • Integrated Cross-Functional Leadership: Architect seamless collaboration across PR, Advanced Analytics, Creative, and Paid Media teams, as well as external partner agencies, to ensure unparalleled campaign execution and maximized impact.
  • Regulatory Foresight & Compliance: Maintain an exhaustive and current understanding of all FDA and FTC regulations pertinent to social media and influencer marketing within the healthcare industry. Implement proactive compliance strategies and expertly mitigate potential risks.
  • Strategic Measurement & Insight: Rigorously track, analyze, and interpret complex campaign performance data, delivering executive-level, insightful reports to clients and internal leadership. Identify pivotal insights and drive continuous, data-driven optimization of strategic approaches.
  • Pioneering Innovation & Best Practices: Actively scan the horizon for the latest social media trends, emerging platforms, and disruptive technologies. Identify transformative opportunities to push boundaries and implement innovative strategies that redefine campaign performance and industry benchmarks.
  • Empowering Team Leadership & Mentorship: Provide inspiring guidance and cultivate exceptional talent within the team, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and growth-oriented environment.
  • Strategic Business Development: Play a critical role in new business initiatives, including leading compelling RFP responses, developing proactive pitches, and expanding the agency's footprint in the healthcare sector.

What You'll Need: Executive Acumen & Expertise

  • Deep Domain Mastery: Extensive and demonstrated experience leading both unbranded and branded pharmaceutical social media programming at a senior level.
  • Omnichannel Integration: Proven expertise in integrating social media as a cornerstone of sophisticated omnichannel marketing strategies. Comprehensive digital marketing knowledge is highly advantageous.
  • Relevant Experience: 8+ years of progressively responsible experience leading healthcare client engagements, ideally within a top-tier PR or advertising agency or in-house marketing leadership role.

  • Omnichannel Social Program Management: Extensive experience leading social media channels for major healthcare brands, including strategic utilization of advanced third-party scheduling, monitoring, and listening platforms.
  • Regulatory Command: A comprehensive and current understanding of FDA and FTC regulations and guidelines specifically related to social media and influencer marketing within the healthcare industry.
  • Exceptional Analytical & Strategic Acumen: Superior analytical capabilities to interpret complex data, accurately forecast and track campaign performance, and generate strategic, actionable insights and recommendations.
