Job description

WHO WE ARE

Open Influence is a global, award-winning creator marketing company, providing premium, end-to-end creator marketing solutions. Since 2013, we have been pioneering the creator economy, executing social-first strategies for over 1,500 top brands—including Universal, Spotify, Google, FOX, Target, and more! As a platform-agnostic and talent-agnostic partner, we connect brands with the right creators, on the right channels, to drive measurable impact and business growth.

We won't bury the lead: success in this role requires a creative "free-range" mindset, paired with immaculate project management skills and attention to the finer details. We combine our passion for culture with an infectious commitment to driving meaningful results for our clients. Sure, every agency will have a 'work hard, play harder' environment. Our approach is: work smarter, play better. With a 92% renewal rate, brands don't just work with us—they stay with us.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Project Manager to support reporting, content approval workflows, and account operations across a complex, diamond tier client account. While this role sits within the Account Management team, it is not a traditional client-management position. This person will not be responsible for independently managing the client relationship or overseeing campaign execution. Instead, they will serve as the account's reporting and operational backbone--owning data collection, developing performance reports, coordinating high-volume content approval workflows, and helping the broader account team operate more efficiently.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who loves data, understands how paid and organic media work together, and is energized by creating structure across complex, fast-moving programs.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Analytical: You naturally look beyond surface level results to understand what happened, why it happened and what should happen next.
  • Data obsessed: You care deeply about accuracy and enjoy working with detailed performance data.
  • Curious: You ask thoughtful questions and actively seek the context behind the numbers.
  • Operationally minded: You enjoy bringing organization and clarity to complex, high-volume workflows.
  • Collaborative: You work well across teams and understand that strong reporting and operations require input from multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledgeable about influencer marketing: You understand the creator ecosystem, common campaign objectives and the nuances of organic and paid creator performance. Please also let us know if you have automotive experience.
  • Polished and poised: You can communicate complex information clearly and confidently, including in client-facing settings.
  • Proactive: You anticipate potential challenges, surface risks early and take ownership of moving work forward.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting and Performance Analysis

  • Manage creator authentication and ensure accurate, timely collection of organic performance data.
  • Develop comprehensive project-by-project campaign reports across multiple concurrent creator programs.
  • Partner with senior account leadership to develop concise monthly performance recaps and larger, strategic quarterly business reviews.
  • Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, performance drivers, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Evaluate both organic and paid media performance, including metrics such as reach, impressions, engagement, video views, click-through rate, conversion metrics, and ROAS
  • Review reporting from cross-functional agency and media partners to understand the broader campaign ecosystem and identify how creator content contributed to business and media outcomes.
  • Support the development and refinement of reporting templates, benchmarks and processes that make account reporting more efficient and scalable.
  • Confidently participate in client-facing reporting presentations when needed, clearly articulating results, insights, and recommendations.

Content Approvals Workflow and Account Operations

  • Project-manage the client-facing legal and content approval process across a high-volume account spanning hundreds of creator assets.
  • Maintain clear visibility into approval statuses, outstanding feedback, deadlines, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate with Senior Account Leads, Client Legal, and other cross-functional agency partners to keep reviews moving and prevent bottlenecks.
  • Consolidate and communicate feedback accurately, ensuring all required revisions and approvals are properly documented.
  • Proactively flag risks, delays, or data gaps that could affect campaign timelines, reporting accuracy, or client deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably within marketing, advertising, or creator marketing environments.
  • Highly proactive, extremely organized, self-starter capable of effectively managing several projects at the same time
  • Professional experience developing advertising, marketing or media performance reports is required. Experience building influencer or creator marketing reports is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of both paid and organic media KPIs and how they should be interpreted within a larger campaign strategy.
  • Experience working with large data sets and translating quantitative findings into concise, meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Familiarity with performance metrics such as ROAS, CTR, CPM, CPE, engagement rate, video completion, conversions and other full-funnel indicators.
  • Strong project-management skills, with experience coordinating complex workflows involving multiple stakeholders, deliverables and deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the polish and confidence to contribute to client-facing reporting conversations.
  • Strong experience working within Google Sheets and Google Slides.
  • Experience working in an advertising agency, media agency or similarly fast-paced marketing environment is preferred.
  • Automotive industry experience is a significant plus.

Location: This role is open to hybrid or fully-remote work within the United States, with priority given to candidates in the greater Los Angeles and New York regions.

The expected salary range for this role is $85,000–$100,000 USD, depending on experience.
