Job description

Do you catch yourself saying "I saw this TikTok the other day..." more often than you'd comfortably admit? Are you the friend that plans the itinerary whenever there's a trip? Our team of influencer marketing experts is growing, and we're looking for people who not only understand the social media landscape, but live and breathe on the cutting edge of it.

WHO WE ARE
Open Influence is a global, award-winning creator marketing company, providing premium, end-to-end creator marketing solutions. Since 2013, we have been pioneering the creator economy, executing social-first strategies for over 1,500 top brands-including Uber, Subaru, Coca-Cola, AT&T, and Disney. As a platform-agnostic and talent-agnostic partner, we connect brands with the right creators, on the right channels, to drive measurable impact and business growth.

We won't bury the lead: success in this role requires a creative "free-range" mindset, paired with immaculate project management skills and attention to the finer details. We combine our passion for culture with an infectious commitment to driving meaningful results for our clients. Sure, every agency will have a 'work hard, play harder' environment. Our approach is: work smarter, play better.

A job description won't do Open Influence's company culture justice, but we'll give you a snapshot in a few bullets.

  • We understand that culture starts at the top. Our management team has an ''open door' policy at all times, and actively creates safe, inclusive spaces to connect, share, and strategize.
  • We recognize and celebrate each other's wins, and pick each other up when we stumble (which, spoiler alert: we all do).
  • We aren't afraid to look in the mirror. We continually learn, grow, and improve what we do and how we do it.

THE ROLE

At Open Influence, our mission is to help brands create alongside extraordinary human beings. As an Associate Account Manager, your mission is to help facilitate the meaningful partnership between both these brands and creators.

You'll be responsible for supporting the delivery of superior client service for various Open Influence clients, with support from a more senior leader on our team. You'll use your deep understanding of influencer marketing strategy to lead the execution of influencer campaigns, from kickoff to reporting. You will act as a liaison between internal departments, brands, and influencers to ensure campaign strategy is successfully executed, manage talent fulfillment of campaign deliverables, and analyze campaign KPIs to optimize based on key learnings.ย

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting, managing and executing post-sale influencer campaigns including adherence to campaign timelines and deliverables with support and mentorship from a senior lead.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for influencers and/or key clients alike, while maintaining strategies to meet brand business objectives
  • In tandem to leading your own projects, AAMs are responsible for supporting more complex projects managed by senior leads. Support frequently looks like taking lead on project management and creator onboarding/communications.
  • Manage high volume and fast paced email communications with influencers, from the initial sourcing and negotiations, guiding the creative development of content, and ensuring roll out aligns with the campaign goals and KPIs
  • Address daily client needs and requests related to the campaign, or other ancillary asks, in a timely strategy-oriented manner
  • Identify trends and develop performance insights, resulting in meaningful recommendations and strategies

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years relevant client-facing, agency experience
  • Experience in leading and executing building and optimizing digital and social media plans, particularly focused on influencer marketing
  • A deep understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
  • Must be extremely detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle a high volume of email communications on a daily basis
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills

Please note: This is a hybrid role with an onsite expectation of 2 days per week in the New York office.

The expected salary range for this role is $65,000-$80,000 USD, depending on experience.
