What you'll do:
As Regional Manager, you will lead all business initiatives in 10-12 locations requiring 2-3 nights travel per week. You will be responsible for providing strategic and tactical business leadership in the development and execution of the region P&L, sales, and operations strategy.
This position includes north central Texas, all of Oklahoma, northern Louisiana, and southwest Arkansas and reports to the Area Vice President. Your office location will be Ft. Worth, TX.
  • Develop, lead, and implement the region's P&L programs, strategic & tactical activities for multiple locations.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with the sellers in the region to include creation of meaningful seller plans and funnel management
  • Manage and grow existing and new customer opportunities using company business processes and cadence.
  • Manage all aspects of the region to meet customer needs and company profitability goals in headcount, inventory, margin, and net income
  • Hire, train, & develop strong performing team players.
  • Prepare management reports and presentations as required
  • Leadership by example. Create a positive, dynamic, and fun work environment

Qualifications
A Regional Manager brings credibility to the region through performance, professional qualifications, and leadership skills as well as leading by example.
  • Documented success proactively managing P&L.
  • 5+ years' experience of proven strategic and tactical business leadership evaluating and implementing comprehensive customer service and sales programs and initiatives
  • 3+ yrs outside B2B sales experience. Industrial distribution preferred
  • High school diploma required. Four-year degree preferred
  • Demonstrated background in talent management and associate development to build and retain highly motivated performance teams
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and organizational skills with all levels of internal and external organizations
  • Mechanical aptitude in order to maximize your product knowledge and help guide customers to solutions. Hydraulic, bearings, and/or power transmission knowledge preferred
  • Systems proficiency including analytics in ERP and computer related systems
  • Ability to travel 2-3 nights per week as needed
  • This position is not eligible for relocation benefits.
