Job Description:
Client is looking for candidate with Procurement experience, which is NOT- IT or Raw Material. Specifically looking for experience with indirect, Travel, HR, Professional Services, Tax, Facility Management, Office supplier, Marketing, Communications, Events, Finance, Data centers, Real estate
Responsible for indirect category management and procurement activities for assigned category (ie.Travel, HR, Finance, Legal, Facilities, Office Supplies)
Together with the Senior Procurement Manager, Global Lead Buyer, Procurement Director and country CPO, identify, integrate and realize global and local actions for the segment(s)
Ensure integration of purchasing activities of the segment (s) with other functions and operations in GBU
Contribute to the Global purchasing network by participating in or assisting purchasing teams and actions within segment(s). Share and integrate best practices for the segment(s)
Assisting Senior Procurement Manager to define local purchasing strategies and actions for segment(s) and ensure compliance to achieve TCO savings, risk management and value creation inside GBU
Work with minimal supervision to pro-actively reduce expenditures and to achieve or exceed targeted cost reductions for the assigned category.
Lead savings and contract negotiations within scope of responsibility.
Lead and provide guidance to support team for creation of (eRFQ, eRFP, eAuctions, e-sourcing, etc,)
Develop good working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure early involvement in defining requirements, agreeing the procurement route and supplier negotiations.
Track and enter savings. Lead issue resolutions with suppliers


Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience with indirect category management sourcing
Strong strategic procurement experience.
Strong contract negotiation skills with experience in redlining and negotiating supplier contracts.
Strong internal customer influence and change management skills with ability to interact with all levels of management using sensitivity, tact and professionalism.
Experience in facilitating eProcurement such as eBids, eRFPS s, etc...
Establish objectives and specify the strategies and actions to achieve these objectives.
Knowledge of industry trends related to the acquisition of products/services in assigned category.
Experience calculating and reporting savings.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams in achieving or exceeding challenging goals
Demonstrated ability to manage, develop and coach others, while in a virtual environment.
Strong computer skills are essential. Preferred experience with Ariba and SAP.
