Job description

Loading Dock Laborer

TekPro Support Services, LLC (TSS) is a government contracting and consulting firm supporting federal agencies and military installations across the U.S. We are currently seeking a Loading Dock Laborer in Cheverly, MD to support our ongoing contract.

This individual performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan. Work involves most of the following: verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage, removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment. This worker may operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties. Under general supervision, the Warehouse Worker performs work involving the receipt, checking, storage, inventory, issue, and delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies; uses powered or non-powered materials handling equipment and delivery trucks; and prepares and/or files forms associated with receipt and delivery of goods. May perform heavy manual labor for a significant portion of the work time.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Active Top Secret Clearance Required
