Job description

About Mytra:
We're creating an entirely new way to solve the most ubiquitous problem in industry - moving and storing material. We're applying robotics and distributed software to create a new class of product for this $1T market. We're focused on the supply chain industry first. The industry is in a massive bind with the continued growth of e-commerce, sharp rise in costs, and supply chain disruptions. What has been a "sleepy" industry for decades is now at the epicenter of sustaining the global economy.
About the role
As an Associate Global Supply Manager at Mytra, you will join our Supply Chain team as a key member of our Electrical supply chain group - supporting one of the most technically complex and commercially critical commodity areas in the business.
The Electrical supply chain covers the parts that define how our product senses, thinks, and communicates: PCBAs, wire harnesses, compute modules, sensors, vision systems, and controls. These are high-complexity, long-lead, technically sensitive components, and the team managing them operates at pace.
In this role, you'll work closely with our Senior Electrical GSM to keep this supply chain running smoothly - managing a portfolio of BOM items, supporting operational execution on our highest-value components, and building the foundational skills that will grow you into a fully independent GSM. You'll get real exposure to supplier strategy and negotiation, while also developing the discipline and systems knowledge that makes supply chains reliable at scale.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their supply chain career who wants to grow fast, work on genuinely hard problems, and be part of building a cutting-edge robotics product from the ground up.
What you'll do:
  • Manage day-to-day supply chain execution across a defined portfolio of Electrical BOM items - tracking POs, managing lead times, following-up with suppliers, and keeping delivery commitments on track.
  • Support the Senior GSM on high-value, high-impact components (PCBAs, wire harnesses, compute modules, sensors, vision systems, and controls) - providing operational coverage, maintaining supply status visibility, and flagging risks early.
  • Build supplier relationships across your portfolio - running routine supplier check-ins, tracking delivery and quality performance, and escalating issues proactively.
  • Maintain accurate BOM and PO data in Mytra's ERP and PLM systems - ensuring supply chain information is current, reliable, and actionable.
  • Support competitive sourcing activities for components in your portfolio - assisting with RFQs, gathering and comparing quotes, and supporting commercial negotiations under guidance.
  • Identify and flag supply risks - component obsolescence, market constraints, long lead times, single-source exposure - and work with the team to develop mitigation plans.
  • Partner with Electrical Engineering on new components entering the BOM - supporting supplier qualification and first article/NPI processes as directed.
  • Look for ways to use automation and AI tools to reduce manual effort and improve visibility across day-to-day supply chain operations.
  • Develop your commercial instincts - learning should-cost modeling, negotiation, and supplier strategy with the support of an experienced team.

Ideal Candidates
  • Have 1-3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, electrical engineering or a related operational role - some exposure to a hardware, manufacturing, or industrial environment is a plus.
  • Are organized and detail-oriented - able to manage a large volume of components, POs, and supplier interactions without things slipping.
  • Demonstrate strong supplier engagement skills - comfortable communicating with suppliers, following up persistently, and building working relationships over time.
  • Have technical & commercial curiosity - interested in understanding pricing, cost drivers, and what makes a good deal, and eager to develop negotiation skills.
  • Bring influencing and communication skills - able to work across internal teams and external suppliers to get things done without always having formal authority.
  • Are energized by automation and AI - actively looking for ways to use tools to reduce manual work and work smarter.
  • Are self-directed and proactive - not waiting to be told what to check; flagging problems before they escalate.
  • Are excited about growing into a fully independent GSM role - this is a deliberate development path, and we're investing in the right person to get there.

Nice to have:
  • Familiarity with electronics manufacturing processes - PCBA fabrication and assembly, harness manufacturing, component qualification, or similar.
  • Experience navigating component allocation, end-of-life (EOL) management, or alternate sourcing strategies.
  • Experience with ERP or PLM systems (SAP, NetSuite, Arena, or similar).
  • Exposure to New Product Introduction supply chain processes - supplier qualification, first articles, or production ramp support.
  • Experience using AI or automation tools in an operational or supply chain context.
  • Background in robotics, warehouse automation, or other hardware-intensive industries.

A Final Note:
If this role excites you, we encourage you to apply - even if you don't check every box. At Mytra, we build bots, but we hire humans. We value thoughtful challengers who communicate with clarity and respect, and we're lifelong learners committed to getting better every day. We move fast, learn faster, and show up for each other under pressure. The best outcomes come from diverse perspectives working together to build something meaningful and built to last
Benefits Include:
  • Competitive compensation and equity grants at a high-growth company backed by top-tier VCs
  • Fully subsidized health coverage, including medical (baseline plans), dental, and vision for employees and dependents
  • 401(k) plans and employer-subsidized life insurance
  • Fully subsidized lunch and snacks at HQ-we eat and share stories together at the "long" table
  • Generous PTO and company-paid holidays, including one week over the winter break so everyone can recharge together
  • Voluntary pet insurance, Voluntary Life Insurance, Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity
  • Fully subsidized tax advisory services and education to help you understand your equity
  • Commuter benefits, including a up to $150 monthly commuter benefit
  • Lively, modern combined office and lab space where we rapidly iterate through design, build, and test phases
  • Fully equipped onsite gym and showers at headquarters

The pay range for this role is:
80,000 - 100,000 USD per year (Mytra, Inc.)
