Position Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Safety Manager to develop, implement, and continuously improve the company's electrical safety program.ย  This role services as the subject-matter expert for electrical hazards and safe work practices.ย  The Electrical Safety Manager drives proactive safety behaviors, reduces risk, and embeds electrical safety into daily work execution.ย 

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead a safety-first culture where safety is owned by field leadership
  • Serve as a visible safety leader through regular job site visits and field engagement
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive electrical safety programs
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and state and local safety regulations
  • Create and maintain safety policies, procedures, and SOPs
  • Conduct job site safety audits and inspections across all Bertke (OH & KY) locations
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Implement weekly safety meetings and toolbox talks
  • Develop and deliver electrical safety training programs for technicians and leaders
  • Own and administer the KPA safety system
  • Track and report EMR, OSHA metrics, training completion, and incidents
  • Serve as safety point of contact for client onboarding, audits, and prequalification
  • Partner with leaders, service managers, and field leadership to improve safety performance

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of industrial or electrical safety experience
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and NFPA 70E
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Ability to complete OSHA documentation and reporting
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Willingness to travel regularly to job sites
